Alright, I wanted to write something about gang banging. There's a lot of factions on the LSRP Community doing it wrong, and I don't want this faction to be one of them.
We're gonna be talking about representing your hood, territory, membership, money, and rivalry.
Representing your hood.
Representing your hood isn't getting tattoos and throwing up gang signs. It's about making sure it's safe and letting unknown faces (including the police) know where they are. Even if it means getting yourself in trouble with anyone.
One example: A blue sedan is driving down the street, then it comes to a sudden stop. You don't shout "WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT?!" or some other nooby shit like that. You simply toss up your hood (/me tosses up four Dodge City Crip related gang signs. * /me tosses up his hood, Dodge City.), let them know where they are, let them know that the gang controlling the hood isn't going to back down from anyone. Basically, what i'm saying is, if you're gonna represent your neighborhood? Don't say it, show it. Oh yeah, remember that tossing up your can get you killed. So it's either you're with it, or you're not. Do this at your own risk.
Territory.
Pick your turf and post up there constantly. You mark your territory with graffiti so that it's official and it's known to others that it's your spot. Tagging can mean war as well, meaning that if a rival gang came to your territory and sprayed up something, they're disrespecting your hood. It's your hood, not theirs. Love your hood, defend your hood, gang bang.
Membership.
Membership is the key to gangs, numbers. Everyone wants to be the most powerful gang in their area. Let's say that you're a four man gang beefing a 15 deep gang, who do you think would win? The 15 deep gang, why? They have more numbers and it's no doubt that they have more power than you. Recruit, recruit, recruit is all I can say, Someone wants to get down with the hood? Put them on.
Money.
Money shows how powerful a gang is and if they're smart or dumb. Let's say you see a rival gang riding in expensive cars, what would you think? You'd think "Oh yeah, these niggas getting paid." So uh, what are you gonna do about it? You're gonna TAKE their money, take whatever you can to keep money out of their pockets and to put money in yours. That's another thing about gang banging, everyone wants to be rich, everyone wants to have dough, everyone wants to flex on some bitches every now and then.
Rivalry.
More than 75% of the gangs in America has been in bloody wars with one another. There's a long list, but I'd rather not list every gang made in the country. It's cool to have the "See a rival, drop the rival" mentality, but don't make it a habit at all. Gang signs shows how much anger you have, how much your hate the rival gang. Throwing up your B's and tossing with the other gang with a middle finger going through it, disrespecting them would give them a message and is the best way to Roleplay gang rivalries. We could go to their hood, tag something and disrespect their dead homies with our hood mark beneath it, that's disrespecting them. Tagging and gang signs plays a big part in gang rivalries. Just because you're throwing gang signs up at each other, it doesn't mean that you have to go right into gunplay or brawl, Be aware of the NPC civilians, be realistic with what you do.
In my opinion, if you want to kill a rival gang member? I say do it at night time when they're slipping outside of their hood. Inside of their hood if necessary, even though the risk of getting killed is high. The "One clip and dip out" phrase is perfect as well, it saves you bullets and prevents Non-RP shootouts from happening.
In personal beef, don't attack your rivals entire hood because of your one on one beef. Catch him slipping then put a bullet through his head or simply fight it out, beat him down.
